Other protection function of solar MPPT charge controller
1.Solar MPPT charge controller input and output short circuit protection function. The input and output circuits of the controller should be provided with short circuit protection circuit.
2.Anti reverse charge protection function. The solar MPPT controller must have the protection function to prevent charging back to the solar cell from the battery.
3.Polarity reverse protection function. The solar cell component or battery is connected with the controller, and when the polarity is reversed, the controller should have the function of protecting the circuit.
4.Lightning protection function. The input end of the controller is provided with a lightning protection function, and the type and the rated value of the arrester shall ensure that the expected impact energy can be absorbed.
5.Anti impulse voltage and impulse curren protection. The controller should not be damaged by applying 1.25 times nominal voltage at the input of the controller for an hour. The controller charging circuit current reaches 1.25 times the nominal current and lasts an hour, the controller should not be damaged.
