System reliability analysis of decentralized bypass and centralized bypass of modular UPS
The advantage of decentralized bypass is that bypass redundancy is claimed, the centralized bypass is considered to be a single fault point.
(1)From the point of view of type selection
From the point of view of device selection, the modular UPS system reliability of single high power SCR is much higher than small devices consisting of a centralized bypass, which function module is simple, only need to consider the influence of the device and a few peripheral driving circuit, while the decentralized bypass is distributed in the power module, but also affected by many internal device module. Engineers who have experience in maintenance all know that, faults of rectifier and inverter circuit are likely to be caused by other parts of the circuit because of sparks and spatter, that is to say the static bypass facing more uncertainty risk. If the bypass is a single fault, the bypass may be referred to as a multiple point fault.
