Efficiency of solar energy inverter
Solar energy inverter efficiency refers to the demand for renewable energy, solar inverter market is growing. These inverters require extremely high efficiency and reliability. The power circuit used in the inverter is investigated, and the best choice for the switch and rectifier is recommended. The solar light is irradiated on the solar module connected in series, and each module contains a series of solar cells. The solar module generates a direct current voltage at an order of magnitude of several hundred volts, depending on the light condition of the module array, the temperature of the battery, and the number of modules connected in series.
The primary function of this type of solar energy inverter is to convert the input DC voltage to a stable value. This feature is achieved through a boost converter and requires a boost switch and a boost diode. In the first structure, the boost stage is followed by an isolated full bridge converter which is to provide isolation. The output on the second full bridge converter is used to convert the DC from the first stage to the full bridge converter into an AC voltage. The output is then filtered through an additional dual contact relay switch connected to the AC power grid network, which is designed to provide safe isolation in the event of failure and isolation at night and power grid. The second structure is non isolation scheme. Among them, the AC voltage is directly generated by the DC output voltage boost stage. The third structure using innovative topological structure of power switch and power diodes and the integration function in a special topology despite very low conversion efficiency of solar panels, inverter efficiency close to 100% as possible is very important. In Germany, installed in the South on the roof of the 3kW series module expects annual power generation 2550 kWh. If the inverter efficiency increased from 95% to 96%, the annual power generation can be more 25kWh. And the cost of using an extra solar module to generate the 25kWh is comparable to that of an inverter. Because the cost of the inverter is not doubled while the efficiency increased from 95% to 96%, so it is necessary to invest in a more efficient inverter. For the new design, the most cost-effective way to improve the efficiency of the solar energy inverter is the key design criteria. As for the reliability and cost of the solar energy inverter is the other two design criteria. Higher efficiency can reduce the temperature fluctuations on the load cycle, thereby improving the reliability, and thus these guidelines are actually associated. The use of modules will also improve reliability.
