The function of solar controller

The solar MPPT charge controller, is the automatic control equipment which used in solar power generation system, control multiple solar array to charge the battery and the battery supply power for the solar inverter load. Almost all of the solar power systems that use battery power supply need a solar charging and discharging controller. The function of the MPPT solar charge controller is to adjust the power, from the solar panel to the battery. Battery overshoot, at least significantly reduced battery life, the worst damage to the battery is until it can not be used properly.
The basic function of the solar energy controller is to control the battery voltage and open the circuit, when the battery voltage rises to a certain extent, stop charging the battery. The old version of the solar MPPT controller mechanically to turn on or off the control circuit, stop or start the power delivered to the battery.
Solar controllers are used in most PV systems to protect the battery from overcharge or over discharge. Over charge may cause the electrolyte in the battery to vaporize and cause failure. Overcharge and over discharge may damage the load. Therefore, the solar controller is one of the core components of the solar power system, but also the main part of the balance system BOS (Balance of System).
